WARRANTY POLICY

WARRANTY POLICY

Effective Date: 29 June 2026

At DreamNap, we are committed to supplying quality products that are built to last. This Warranty Policy explains the warranty cover available on products purchased from DreamNap and how warranty claims are handled.

This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

1. Company Information

DreamNap is a trading name of:

2. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Warranty Policy limits or excludes your legal rights under UK consumer law.

If goods are faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

This warranty provides additional benefits where applicable.

3. Warranty Coverage

Many of the products sold by DreamNap include a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Warranty periods vary depending on the product purchased.

Where a specific warranty period is advertised on a product page, that period will apply.

If no warranty period is stated, only your statutory consumer rights will apply unless a manufacturer provides separate warranty documentation.

4. What Is Covered

Subject to the terms of this policy, warranty cover may include manufacturing defects such as:

  • Faulty workmanship

  • Manufacturing defects in materials

  • Structural frame defects

  • Defective fittings supplied by the manufacturer

  • Manufacturing faults present under normal domestic use

Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, we may, at our discretion:

  • Repair the product;

  • Supply replacement parts;

  • Replace the product with the same or an equivalent model; or

  • Offer an appropriate refund where repair or replacement is not possible.

5. What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Accidental damage

  • Misuse or abuse

  • Commercial or business use (unless specifically stated)

  • Improper assembly

  • Failure to follow care instructions

  • Damage caused by pets

  • Staining

  • Water damage

  • Burns

  • Cuts

  • Tears

  • Cosmetic damage occurring after delivery

  • Damage caused during relocation

  • Deliberate damage

  • Modifications or repairs carried out by unauthorised persons

6. Mattresses

Mattresses naturally soften over time with normal use.

The following are generally not considered manufacturing defects:

  • Comfort preference

  • Normal settlement of upholstery

  • Minor changes in firmness

  • Body impressions within normal manufacturing tolerances

  • General ageing through regular use

A manufacturing defect must be present before a warranty claim can be accepted.

7. Upholstered Products

Velvet, fabric and upholstered furniture may naturally display:

  • Shading

  • Pressure marks

  • Pile movement

  • Fabric creasing

  • Texture variation

These are normal characteristics of upholstered furniture and are not manufacturing faults.

8. Wooden Furniture

Natural timber products may vary in:

  • Grain

  • Colour

  • Knots

  • Texture

Small variations are natural characteristics of wood and are not defects.

Wood may also expand or contract slightly due to changes in temperature and humidity.

9. Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty cover, customers should:

  • Use products for normal domestic purposes.

  • Follow all care instructions.

  • Assemble products correctly.

  • Avoid overloading storage compartments.

  • Use mattresses on suitable bases where required.

  • Inspect products regularly for loose fittings.

Failure to follow reasonable care instructions may invalidate the warranty.

10. Reporting a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has developed a manufacturing fault, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

To help us assess your claim, we may request:

  • Your order number

  • Proof of purchase

  • A description of the fault

  • Photographs of the affected area

  • Additional information where necessary

In some cases, we may arrange an inspection before making a decision.

11. Warranty Assessment

Once sufficient information has been received, we will assess your claim.

Where appropriate, we may:

  • Request additional photographs;

  • Arrange an independent inspection;

  • Contact the manufacturer; or

  • Request the return of faulty components.

Warranty claims are assessed on an individual basis.

12. Repairs

Where a repair is considered the most appropriate solution, we may:

  • Supply replacement parts;

  • Arrange for replacement components to be fitted;

  • Repair the product using approved methods.

Repairs carried out under warranty do not automatically extend the original warranty period.

13. Replacements

If replacement is necessary, we will normally supply the same product.

If that product is no longer available, we may provide a comparable alternative of equal value and specification.

14. Exclusions Due to Improper Use

Warranty claims may be declined where damage results from:

  • Improper handling

  • Incorrect assembly

  • Excessive loading

  • Neglect

  • Poor maintenance

  • Exposure to excessive moisture

  • Outdoor use

  • Commercial use where not intended

15. Transfer of Warranty

Unless expressly stated otherwise, warranty cover applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent owners.

16. Limitation of Warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this warranty covers the repair, replacement or refund of the affected product only.

It does not cover indirect or consequential losses, including:

  • Loss of use

  • Loss of earnings

  • Alternative accommodation costs

  • Removal or installation costs (unless required by law)

  • Any other indirect financial loss

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
