Where delays occur, we will endeavour to keep you informed.
18. Delivery Arrangements
Where possible, our delivery partners will contact you before delivery to arrange a suitable date or delivery window.
It is your responsibility to:
- ensure someone aged 18 or over is available to receive the goods;
- provide accurate delivery information;
- ensure access to the property is suitable;
- notify us of any access restrictions before delivery.
Examples include:
- narrow staircases
- apartment buildings
- restricted parking
- gated communities
- limited access roads
Failure to disclose access restrictions may result in additional delivery charges.
19. Failed Deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed because:
- no one is available;
- access is unavailable;
- incorrect information has been provided;
- delivery is refused without good reason;
we may charge reasonable redelivery or storage costs.
If repeated delivery attempts are unsuccessful, we reserve the right to cancel the order and deduct reasonable costs incurred before issuing any refund where permitted by law.
20. Inspection Upon Delivery
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If you believe goods have arrived:
- damaged;
- incomplete;
- incorrect;
please notify us within 48 hours of delivery where reasonably possible.
Photographs of any damage may assist us in resolving the issue quickly.
Failure to report visible damage promptly does not remove your statutory rights but may delay our investigation.
21. Risk and Ownership
Risk in the goods passes to you when they have been delivered to the delivery address.
Ownership of the goods remains with DreamNap until payment has been received in full.
22. Consumer Cancellation Rights
If you are purchasing as a consumer, you may have the right to cancel your order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Unless an exemption applies, you generally have 14 days from the day after receiving your goods to notify us that you wish to cancel.
You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
Returned goods should be:
- unused;
- in a resaleable condition;
- complete;
- returned with original packaging where reasonably possible.
23. Products Excluded from Cancellation
Your statutory cancellation rights may not apply to:
- bespoke products;
- personalised products;
- products manufactured to your individual specifications.
This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
24. Returns
If you wish to return an eligible product, please contact us before returning the goods.
Unless the goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied, customers are responsible for arranging and paying the cost of returning unwanted items.
Returned goods should be adequately packaged to avoid damage during transit.
Refunds may be reduced if the value of the goods has been diminished through handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics or functioning.
25. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods
If your order is:
- faulty;
- damaged;
- defective;
- not as described;
- incorrect;
please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Where appropriate, we may:
- repair the goods;
- replace the goods;
- provide replacement parts;
- offer a partial refund;
- offer a full refund.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 remain unaffected.
26. Refunds
Approved refunds will normally be processed using the original payment method.
Refunds are generally processed within 14 days after:
- receiving returned goods; or
- receiving satisfactory evidence that goods have been returned.
Delivery charges will be refunded where required by law.
Additional delivery services selected by the customer may not be refundable.
